Jahme Barnes, 17, was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, third-degree murder, aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy, possessing an instrument of crime and multiple firearms charges, WTXF-TV reported.

She was arrested by U.S. Marshals at a North Philadelphia home on Friday, the television station reported. An arrest warrant had been issued by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office on Aug. 29.

Barnes was wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of Dakari Jermel Rome, of Pottstown, in his hometown on Aug. 28. She is also accused of wounding a 17-year-old boy, also from Pottstown, WFMZ-TV reported.

According to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele, Barnes was driving an Audi SUV on Aug. 28 at about 10 p.m. EDT with three passengers -- Kasheem Williams, Rome and a 17-year-old identified only as JH -- according to the Daily Voice of Montgomery.

The injured 17-year-old reportedly told police he possessed a 9mm Glock pistol owned by Williams on the night of the shooting, WTXF reported.

Investigators said the juvenile handed the gun to Rome, who then gave it to Williams, according to the television station. Williams then handed the weapon to Barnes, who began playing with the gun and recording herself, WTXF reported.

Investigators said that Barnes pointed the gun at the juvenile asking “what else you got?” the Daily Voice reported. According to a news release from the district attorney’s office, the bullet went through the boy’s hand and struck Rome in the chest, prosecutors said.

Williams was arrested on Sept. 1 on third-degree murder and related charges, according to the district attorney’s office.

Barnes will be arraigned on Oct. 18, WFMZ reported.
