Tom Hanks recently recounted working with his “Bosom Buddies” co-star and friend Peter Scolari.
Scolari died last month from cancer.
Hanks said he and Scolari were the only two men in the cast of the show. They portrayed two men, who dressed as women, to live in a women-only apartment building, the “Today” show reported.
He said the two of them bonded as they awaited their scenes, Entertainment Weekly reported.

“We were molecularly connected in a way that we started speaking the same language,” the Oscar-winning actor told Jimmy Kimmel.
Hanks broke down at the end of the interview after watching a clip of the two of them in action.
“We lost him to the emperor of all maladies,” Hanks said of Solari’s death, thanking Kimmel for allowing him to share their story.
