ORLANDO, Fla.,None — Orlando police evacuated the Walmart on South Semoran Blvd. and Lake Margaret for a short time after reports of a man with a gun inside the store.
A large number of police officers responded to the scene and searched the store for the man.
Police said two men started a fight inside the store with another man who had a gun.
“When I was going out, I think it was SWAT team, they were going inside with automatic rifles,” said eyewitness Yogi Casanova.
All three men involved in the fight got out of the store before police moved in.
The man with the gun actually saw the evacuation on TV and called police to report himself, and tell them he had a permit to carry the gun.
There's no word yet on whether he will face any charges.
Police are still looking for the other two men.
Just before 6:30 p.m. officers determined that the store was clear and shoppers were allowed back inside.
