Troopers say a 75-year-old Cocoa Beach woman driving a BMW was positioned in the inside eastbound lanes directly in front of a Ford Transit van that was also traveling eastbound.
According to FHP, the BMW driver lost control and ran off the left side of the road then overcorrected back to the right, directly into the path of the transit van.
The front of the BMW hit the back of the van, causing the van to spin off the left side of the road.
