Elections end and your child doesn’t always make honor roll, so when it’s time to remove the stickers from your Orlando used car’s bumper or window, we have some easy tips to help get them off without leaving any sticky residue! A car with stickers and decals, whether worn or not, has a depreciated value due to its exterior condition. For a decal or sticker on glass of the car, it’s pretty simple! Carefully use a razor blade or a plastic card to get under one corner of the sticker and gently pull it up. Use the blade or card to lift the sticker up, moving from one end to the other.
As for a decal on the paint of your Orlando used car, it requires more supplies and more steps.
- Clean your vehicle to ensure the area around the sticker is clean. Then use a soft cloth to dry the sticker and the area surrounding it.
- Use a blow dryer to heat the sticker by hovering the blow dryer 4 to 5 inches above the sticker –not too close to your vehicle. Heat the center of the sticker first and then heat the edges.
- Next, use the plastic card to remove the sticker by pushing it under the sticker from end to end.
- If you're left with residue, use a cleaning product or a tree sap remover on a soft cloth to get rid of the sticky stuff!
