JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Tim Tebow is officially a Jacksonville Jaguar, Channel 9′s sister station WJAX reported.
He signed his contract with the team Thursday morning, a source told NFL Network Ian Rapoport.
The Jags are expected to make a formal announcement Thursday morning.

Tebow would be reunited with his college coach Urban Meyer, who is now head coach of the Jaguars, WJAX reported.
On April 29, the first day of the NFL Draft, Rapoport and ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Tebow had recently worked out with the Jaguars TE coach.

Schefter previously reported that Tebow moving to tight end is a move many believe would have extended his NFL career had he made the transition earlier.
