Aquatica in Orlando, SeaWorld's water park, is the ideal spot to take the family to cool off.  From lazy river rides, free-fall plunges from a waterfall, chilling in the sand or anything in between, you'll find plenty of attractions to suit your style at Aquatica.

If you're planning to visit Orlando's Aquatica water park, here's what you need to know before you go.

Slides and pools
What better way to cool off than by splashing in a pool or zipping down a thrilling slide? Aquatica has a multitude of slides, pools and other experiences for all ages. Share a raft with the kids and ride down Ray Rush, play in the Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores wave pools or take the incredible Dolphin Plunge through a tube that makes it feel as though you're swimming with the amazing aquatic creatures. If you're truly adventurous, take the free-fall plunge off Ihu's Breakaway Falls, the steepest multidrop tower of its kind in Orlando.

Kids' slides
If your kids aren't yet old enough to handle the large slides, they'll still find plenty to do. Kata's Kookaburra Cove has beginner's body slides, water spouts and pools to help them join in on the fun. Also try Walkabout Waters for splash pools, kid-friendly slides and more.

Relaxing rides
To take a break from the thrills, float down a lazy river or chill out on a lounge chair in the sand as you sip a refreshing drink.

Tickets
You can purchase a one-day ticket to Aquatica, and other options, such as adding all-day dining, are also sometimes available. Two-park and three-park tickets, with or without all-day dining, can be purchased if you'd like to visit more than one of the following parks: Aquatica, SeaWorld OrlandoBusch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island. Hotel packages and memberships are also available.

Visitors can buy individually priced upgrades such as wave pool loungers with an attached shade top, cabana access or front-of-the-line passes.

You'll need to pay an additional charge for parking.

Directions
Aquatica is located at 5800 Water Play Way in Orlando and be reached in the following ways:

From Orlando National Airport
Take Hwy. 528/Beachline Expessway Westbound and exit onto International Drive. Turn left, and follow the signs to SeaWorld, which is across the street from Aquatica.

From Tampa or Hwy. 192 hotels
Take I-4 Eastbound to exit 71 (SeaWorld exit). Take a right onto Central Florida Parkway and turn left onto Sea Harbor Drive. Aquatica is just past SeaWorld and across International Drive.

From downtown Orlando
Take I-4 Westbound to exit 72 (Highway 528/Beachline Expressway) eastbound. Take exit 1 (International Drive) and take a left at the bottom of the ramp. Follow the signs to SeaWorld, and you'll see Aquatica across the street.
