Basic information
The Orange County Jail is comprised of the following facilities: the Booking and Release Center, Direct Supervision Facilities, the Main Facility Jail and the Work Release Center.

The Booking and Release Center has a total of 592 beds. Other features of this jail facility include medical and mental health treatment units, three courtrooms and the offices for the state attorney, judiciary and public defender.

The Direct Supervision Facility is separated into distinct areas with a varying amount of bed capacity in each: the female detention center, Horizon Facility, Genesis Facility, Phoenix Facility and Whitcomb Facility.

The Main Facility Jail has a total of 1,053 beds.

The Work Release Center features dorm-style housing for 308 inmates. In this center, inmates work in the community while serving their sentences.

Visiting Orange County Jail
