ORLANDO, Fla. — The skies will remain mostly cloudy across Central Florida during the weekend. The same cold front that brought us wonderful cool weather this week, is retracting northward and will become stationary right over Central Florida. Deep tropical moisture will arrive in our area from the tropical system nearing the Yucatan Peninsula.

  • Saturday: Mostly cloudy with highs only reaching 79. The rain will arrive during the late afternoon into the evening. Humidity levels will be rising across Central Florida. The evening showers will move mainly from south to north.
  • Sunday: higher than normal rain chances, about 70% of Central Florida should receive measurable rain, with heavy showers and storms affecting the area since the morning hours. Highs will stay between the upper-70s and low-80s.
