The Salvation Army of Orlando will provide shelter for the homeless, starting Saturday at 4 p.m.
Shelter occupants must bring clothing for the duration of their stay, personal care items and health supplies, officials said.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Residents with pets or special needs are encouraged to call 407-836-9319 or visit www.orangecountyfl.net/ for more information.

“We are standing with the city of Orlando to keep our most vulnerable population safe in the storm,” said area commander Maj. Ted Morris. “Additionally, we are monitoring the storm. Once the weather improves, occupants will be free to leave the shelters.”
