ORLANDO, Fla. — The latest spot in the tropics to watch is roughly 1,000 miles east of the Windward Islands.
Channel 9 meteorologist Rusty McCranie said the disturbance, called 92L, is set to continue moving across the Atlantic Basin this week.

McCranie said conditions are expected to become more favorable for the system to develop over the next day or two.
He said over the next couple of days the system is likely to develop into a tropical depression or tropical storm.
