ORLANDO, Fla. — Intense thunderstorms are moving across Central Florida.
There’s one final push of rain and thunder moving through Orlando, WFTV meteorologist George Waldenberger said.

As bedtime nears, lingering showers will gradually start breaking up until quiet conditions return by morning. More storms are expected to fire up Wednesday afternoon.
The storms could bring winds in excess of 40-50 mph and small hail to many parts of Central Florida.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued in Seminole and Volusia counties.

“This evening, any leftover rain will gradually taper,” he said.
Those attending Tuesday evening’s Orlando City Soccer Club match will want to keep a poncho and umbrella handy as lingering showers will likely still be present during the 7:30 p.m. kickoff time.
