Graco: Chair’s rear legs can pivot out of position
The recall involves Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 high chairs with the model number 1969721. Look for the model number on the underside of the toddler seat and on the back of the booster seat.
These Graco high chairs were sold exclusively at Walmart stores across the country from October 2016 through December 2017 for $99.
Approximately 36,000 units were sold, according to Graco.
Among the main selling points of the high chair was that it could easily change from a traditional high chair to a booster seat or toddler chair with table, among other things.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received 38 reports of the chair's rear legs pivoting out of position. As a result, five children sustained "bumps and bruises" after the high chair tipped over while they were in it.
If you have one of these chairs in your home, stop using it immediately and contact Graco for a free repair kit.
You can reach Graco at 800-345-4109 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or online at GracoBaby.com.
