VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla.,None — Two men who were caught and arrested Wednesday with 74 illegal fish in their boat have bonded out of the Volusia County jail.
A Florida Fish and Wildlife officer arrested Lewis Coleman and Daniel Edwards after he found them picking up snook on the Tomoka River in Ormond Beach.
The protected fish have been floating near the water's surface recently because they are stunned by the cold.
It is illegal to catch snook, this time of year.
All of the fish were donated to an alligator farm in St. Augustine.
