ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Prosecutors have dropped the child pornography charges against a former University of Central Florida professor.
Michael Reichert's trial was supposed to begin February 21. He was facing 114 counts of possessing child pornography.
Reichert claimed a computer virus downloaded the photos. His attorney says the prosecution couldn't prove Reichert opened the files.
