Police said a silent alarm alerted an officer who spotted the suspect through the window of the store off Winter Woods Boulevard and State Road 436 (see map) .

The officer said he thought the business was closed because the lights appeared to be off inside, but when he looked through the window he saw the man.

Investigators said the man then pointed a gun at the officer, and then ran out the back door and got away. Police sent out a helicopter to search for the suspect, but he was not found.

The gunman was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. There's still no word on how much cash the he got away with.

Police said another man robbed a 7-Eleven store within a mile of the pizza store minutes later, but they said they don't know if those robberies are related. At this point, police are speculating that they could be.

The store does have a surveillance camera, but police have not released the video yet. No one was injured in the robbery.
