‘Be A Florida Hero’: State launches law enforcement recruitment website

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody on Friday announced the launch of a website aimed at recruiting new law enforcement officers to Florida.

The website offers an interactive map of the state for potential hires to navigate to find open positions.

Moody said the goal of the “Be A Florida Hero” initiative is to encourage job seekers from across the country to pursue law enforcement careers in the Sunshine State.
