Child, 2 others killed in South Florida plane crash

A child and two other people were killed after an airplane crashed into an SUV in South Florida Monday afternoon.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane was a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza that crashed shortly after it took off from North Perry Airport at around 3 p.m.

A nearby doorbell camera recorded the crash.

“We hear like a bomb, like a tremendous noise and we went outside and everything was on fire,” said Annabel Fernandez, who lives nearby.

The two people on board the plane were killed instantly.

Investigators said something went wrong when the plane took off from a nearby airport.

The pilot was trying to return to the airport when the plane clipped a power line and crashed.
