Florida has received just over $11 billion in economic stimulus money in the three weeks since President Donald Trump signed the CARES Act into law.
More than 6.3 million payments have been issued, putting Florida behind California and Texas with 9.1 million payments and 7.8 million payments, respectively.
Since the president signed the CARES Act into law three weeks ago, Americans have received nearly $158 billion in economic impact payments, according to WSBTV in Atlanta.
The IRS has issued 88.1 million stimulus payments to people across the country, and more are being delivered each week.

“The IRS, Treasury and partner agencies are working nonstop to get these payments out in record time to Americans who need them,” said IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig.
Payments are automatic for people who filed a tax return in 2018 or 2019, receive Social Security retirement, survivor or disability benefits (SSDI), Railroad Retirement benefits, as well as Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Veterans Affairs beneficiaries who didn’t file a tax return in the last two years.
Millions of people are still awaiting payments that Rettig says are on the way.
If you still haven’t received your payment, you can check your status on the IRS website here.
