100-year-old Apopka feed store to become a food hall

APOPKA, Fla. — A 100-year-old feed store in Apopka will soon be changing into a food hall.

Propagate Social House said Monday that it will purchase Hall’s Feed on East Fifth Street near South Central Avenue and will turn it into “Hall’s on 5th.”

This project will be the city’s first food hall.

In a social media post, the breakfast and brunch restaurant said it is grateful for the city’s support and the Hall family for trusting them to transform the iconic building.

The restaurant has yet to announce an opening date for the new food hall.
