According to a news release by Sanford Main Street, a non-profit that runs Jingle Jam, a rise in costs and “the mounting fatigue by the ever-increasing regulations” led to their decision.

The festival has been a staple in the community, bringing the holiday spirit to the Central Florida community.

However, according to Sanford Main Street, volunteers have expressed fatigue due to managing the demands of the yearly event.

“We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the community for their unwavering support of Jingle Jam throughout the years,” the non-profit said.

The mayor released a statement responding to the cancellations.

He said the city regrets the organizers’ decision to cancel the popular events.
