Apopka man arrested for indecent exposure, police ask for additional victims to come forward

APOPKA, Fla. — Apopka police arrested an indecent exposure suspect Wednesday who they say could have more victims.

The investigation began Monday after the Apopka Police Department received a report of a man masturbating in his car in the parking lot of a convenience store at 1501 Rock Springs Road.

According to police, another victim came forward during their initial investigation and reported a similar incident that had occurred at the same place about a month earlier, but was never reported to police.

The victims described the suspect in each case as a white man in a white Ford SUV.

Based on the victims’ descriptions, police say they were able to identify 52-year-old Michael Ancker as their suspect.

Police secured a warrant and arrested Ancker Wednesday on a charge of indecent exposure. He’s being held in the Orange County jail on $1,500 bond.

Due to the nature of the crime, police say Ancker may have other victims.

They’re encouraging any other potential victims or witnesses to additional acts by Ancker to contact the Apopka Police Department.
