Bees buzzing around Titusville gas station create nuisance for customers

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — There’s a pesky problem buzzing around a Titusville gas station.

Drivers who fill up at a Cumberland Farms have to dodge bees while they fill up.

Raw: Bees at gas station

Customers said the honey bees have been around for weeks, and they’ve had to ask gas station employees to fill up their cars.

Employees said they’ve gotten angry phone calls and emails asking that something be done.

The bees flock to the dumpsters and the trash cans next to the pump.

The company sent a letter sent to one of the customers saying they have brought out a pest control company to look for the hive, but can't find it on the property.

So far, nobody can figure out where the bees are coming from.

The letter says every time they do get rid of some bees, others return.
