BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — OMNI Healthcare and the Florida Department of Health in Brevard County both announced plans this week to begin offering the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 through 11.
The medical group is now administering the vaccine at its pediatrics offices throughout Brevard County by appointment and at its Melbourne vaccination clinic on a walk-in basis.

Here’s what you need to know:
OMNI vaccination walk-in clinic
Children 5 years old and up are welcome to receive their shots when accompanied by a parent at the clinic located on the second floor of 1344 S. Apollo Blvd. in Melbourne. The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Appointments are not required but can be made by calling 321-802-5515, or by emailing the request and including a name and phone number to COVID@OMNIhealthcare.com.
Anyone interested in having their child receive the vaccine should bring a state-issued ID and their insurance card. Without insurance, a social security number is required.

The vaccine is provided at no cost to the patient.
The Pfizer vaccine is a two-dose vaccine, with shots recommended to be given 21 days (or up to six weeks) apart.

Florida Department of Health in Brevard County
The Florida Department of Health in Brevard County will begin offering the pediatric Pfizer vaccine next week. Parents or guardians must accompany the child. The vaccine will be available on a walk-in basis per the schedule below:
