Celebration-area property owner cooks up conversion plans

The pivot of a hotel property to apartments near Celebration and Disney, is in the works in Osceola County.

John Szerdi, president of Lake Worth-based Living Designs Group Florida Architects Inc., is the applicant for the pre-application request to explore the possibility on behalf of the property owners of 5565 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway/U.S. 192.

The property, formerly the 403-room extended-stay Banyan Hotel & MicroSuites before its 2021 closure, is owned by Delray Beach-based 5565 Irlo Bronson LLC.
