Central Florida Goodwill hosting virtual info sessions for job seekers, people with criminal records

ORLANDO, Fla. — Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is hosting two free webinars this week aimed at helping job seekers find work, including those with criminal records.

In addition to their normal work helping people build new skills and connecting them with potential job opportunities, Goodwill is partnering with the Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society to explain the process of sealing and expunging criminal records.

The virtual session will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. and can be accessed by registering in advance here.

The next day, Goodwill’s virtual job connection team will host another free webinar for job seekers who are interested in finding a completely new career path.

Thursday’s virtual course starts at 1 p.m. and will offer tips on finding job opportunities that align with the applicant’s experience, training, and personal interests.
