Cintas accepting submissions for its annual Custodian of the Year contest

ORLANDO, Fla. — Nominations are now open for the 2023 Cintas Custodian of the Year contest.

Now in its tenth year, the contest highlights the hard work of custodians at K-12 schools, colleges, and universities who work tirelessly to keep their schools clean and safe.

From now until Feb 17 students and staff from all grade levels can nominate their school’s custodian by submitting a short essay about why he or she is the best.

The top 10 finalists will be announced on March 14, and voting for the winner will run through April 14, with the finalist receiving the most votes named Custodian of the Year.

The winner will receive $10,000 and $5,000 in Rubbermaid Cintas products for their school.

The runners-up will each receive $1,000 and free tuition to one ISSA Cleaning Management Institute training event.
