Major delays after crash closes I-4 east at Lee Road for hours

WINTER PARK, Fla. — Eastbound lanes of I-4 at Lee Road are back open after clean up of a fuel spill following a crash closed the lanes for hours, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred around 9 a.m. at Lee Road.

Authorities said there was a 60 gallon fuel leak at the site of the crash that needed to be cleaned up.

Authorities said there were no injuries in the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol officials said that while the road is back open, traffic delays still persist in the area.

Troopers suggest drivers avoid I-4 while traffic returns to normal.
