Daytona Beach, Fla. — Federal agents raided a Volusia County used car lot Monday morning after they said they found drugs being sold inside the business.
Federal agents with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration said thousands of pills were sold at Daytona Auto Sales on Mason Avenue over the last year.
Angelo Noviello and Johnny Noveillo, a father and son who run the business, were arrested, authorities said.
Investigators said the family trafficked nearly 2,000 methadone, hydromorphone and morphine tablets. They also found more than 11,000 oxycodone pills.
Agents said buyers would walk right into the business to exchange money for pills.
DEA agents wouldn’t say where the drugs came from but said more arrests are likely.
Both suspects are being held in the Volusia County Jail.
