ORLANDO, Fla. — More than 150,000 people are expected to pack downtown Orlando's Lake Eola Park on Tuesday for the 40th annual Fireworks at the Fountain display.
Two dozen vendors have lined the lake and roads have been closed in preparation for the crowds.
North Rosalind Avenue is closed from East Robinson Street to East South Street.
East Central Boulevard is closed from North Rosalind Avenue to North Eola Drive
Portions of East Robinson Street and North Eola Drive are also closed.
The roads are expected to reopen at midnight.
Tents, canopies, large umbrellas, glass containers, alcohol and personal fireworks are forbidden.
Lynx's free Lymmo bus service will be running on its normal schedule.
Spectators are advised to arrive early to secure an ideal spot.
The event begins at 4 p.m. and the fireworks display is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m.
