SEE: Large amounts of sand washes up on Flagler County beach after Hurricane Nicole

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Flagler County Emergency Management captured drone footage of the Hammock area on Friday.

This was only a day after Hurricane Nicole made landfall in Florida.

There was a significant amount of sand washed up on the beach in north Flagler County, and the sand eventually moved onto the streets as a result of the storm.

Flagler County estimates that Nicole will cost it a total of $23.7 million in damage.

Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Saturday that state Road A1A in Flagler and Volusia counties has reopened after emergency repairs lasted three days.
