ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orlando police were looking for the driver of a car involved in a drive-by shooting on Kirkman Road near International Drive Monday.
The shooting was reported at about 4:13 a.m. by the driver of an Infinity SUV; the driver was heading south on Kirkman Road when someone opened fire.
The driver, who was not identified, was able to drive to a Denny’s near the intersection of Kirkman Road and International Drive and call police.
Even though the SUV was shot numerous times, no one inside was injured, police said.
The shooter’s vehicle is described as a silver car, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, investigators said.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
