The Glenn Miller Orchestra

The Glenn Miller Orchestra will bring its greatest hits show to the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts Friday at 7:30 p.m. Click here for tickets.

Michael Rapaport

Comedian Michael Rapaport, known for his movie and TV roles, will bring the laughs to Orlando Improv Friday and Saturday. Tickets have sold out.

AdventHealth Florida’s Fastest 5K

AdventHealth Florida’s Fastest 5K run/walk steps off Saturday morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont. Click here for more details and to register.

Ritz Theater Centennial

Celebrate 100 years of the Ritz Theater in Sanford, 201 S. Magnolia Avenue at Puttin’ on the Ritz: Cheers to 100 Years. The black tie and roaring 20s gala begins at 5:30 p.m. Click here for tickets.

Science on Tap

Orlando Science Center will host Science on Tap Saturday at Loch Haven Park from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with VIP entry beginning at noon. The beer festival will feature brews, food and science while supporting a great cause. Click here for information.

Central Florida Comic Con

Central Florida Comic Con takes place Saturday and Sunday at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland. There will be celebrity guests, costume contests and more. Click here to purchase tickets and more.

Sesame Street Kids Weekend

New furry friends will make an appearance during Sesame Street Kids’ Weekend.

Families can join in the celebration at SeaWorld Orlando this Saturday and Sunday. There will be hands-on activities and photos with Sesame Street characters like Cookie Monster and new characters like Baby Bear, Honker and Dinger.

Splash Mountain final weekend

This weekend will be your last chance to experience a classic Walt Disney World attraction before it undergoes a historic transformation.

Splash Mountain, located in Frontierland in Magic Kingdom, will officially close to the public at the end of the day Sunday, meaning guests only have a few days left to experience the attraction in its current form.

Beginning Monday, Splash Mountain will undergo a transformation and reopen in 2024 as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, inspired by the 2009 animated film “The Princess and the Frog.”
