LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake County bail bond agent, who deputies said opened fire on two people she was trying to take into custody, is free on bond.
Investigators said Sheila Antley tried to take Preston Greenlee and Stephanie Crouse into custody at the Blueberry Hill apartment complex in Leesburg on warrants for orders to revoke their bonds Thursday.
Antley told deputies she shot at Greenlee's tires because he attempted to escape.
Crouse was taken into custody, but Greenlee was never caught.
Greenlee was out on bond for a grand theft charge, while Crouse was out on bond for a charge of dealing in stolen property.
Antley had their bond revoked when they failed to appear in court.
No one was hurt.
Antley has been charged for shooting into an occupied vehicle.
