ORLANDO, Fla.,None — An Orlando man accused of choking a swan at Lake Eola remains behind bars Friday morning.
Police said John Wynne was arrested Monday for grabbing an Australian black swan by the neck and carrying it through the park.
Nearby police saw the incident. They said Wynne dropped the swan after spotting an officer.
He’s charged with animal cruelty and grand theft and his bond is set at $1,000.
An animal expert said the swan was not injured.
