Man shot several times in Altamonte Springs

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — Altamonte Springs police are investigating after a man was shot several times.

Just before 10 p.m., police said they responded to 112 Essex Avenue in reference to a shooting.

Officers said they found a 28-year-old man who was shot multiple times.

The man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said a female suspect who knew the man left the scene before officers arrived.

The investigation is ongoing.
