Men accused of stealing $500K worth of scrap metal from Orange Co. Public Schools

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two men are accused of stealing nearly $500,000 worth of scrap metal from Orange County Public Schools.

Investigators said Otis Jackson and Raymond Lindsey stole from the county's public schools maintenance facilities in Orlando 60 times.

The burglaries happened between January and October, investigators said.

The two men are accused of scrapping some of the metal for nearly $45,000 in cash.
