An Orange County bureaucratic snafu partially resolved earlier this month — that held up hundreds of millions of dollars worth of construction — is allowing one developer to move ahead on a major mixed-use project.
Altamonte Springs-based developer Wohlfarth Consulting Group LLC plans to to seek approvals for its proposed Ocoee Village Center project on July 21 from the city of Ocoee.
The project — at Clarcona Ocoee Road and Lakewood Avenue in the fast-growing city of Ocoee — may feature more than 500 apartments and townhomes ,in addition to 150,000 square feet of retail space.
