MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The National Weather Service confirmed Monday that an EF-1 tornado touched down just west of Ocala Sunday afternoon.
The tornado with estimated winds of 110 mph touched down just west of Ocala and damaged a large warehouse and knocked down a large oak tree.

Officials said there were no reports of any injuries from the storms.
According to the weather service, no tornado warning was issued because the low-level storm was not picked up on radar.

The forecast calls for more rain Tuesday with the chance of some sunshine later in the week.
