UPDATE: Ocala police identify man who hid video camera in women’s restroom at local gas station

OCALA, Fla. — The Ocala Police Department says they’ve identified the man caught hiding a video camera in the women’s restroom of a local gas station.

Police released video from the suspect’s own camera Thursday in an attempt to get him identified. It shows the suspect concealing the camera in a flower pot in the restroom at the Circle K at 1986 Southwest 27th Ave.

UPDATE: He has been identified! His name is Justin Wright and he has a warrant out for his arrest. Thank you all who shared this post. CAN YOU IDENTIFY? This man hid a video camera in a flower pot inside a women's bathroom at Circle K, located at 1986 SW 27 Ave. The camera was set up on Feb. 24 around 9:30 p.m. and ran until 5 a.m. the next day after #OPD was notified. Late Friday, police said they’d identified the suspect as Justin Wright and had issued a warrant for his arrest. Wright has not been taken into custody.

Police say the camera was in place from 9:30 p.m. on February 24 until approximately 5 a.m. the next day when police were called.

They’re asking anyone who thinks they may be a victim to call the police department at (352) 369-7000.
