OIA passenger numbers continue to rebound for second month of 2022

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando International Airport continues to see a rebound in passenger traffic for the second straight month.

According to airport officials, nearly 3.6 million domestic and international passengers traveled through OIA in February, an increase of 83% from the same period in 2021.

Orlando saw domestic traffic climb to 3,360,202 passengers, a more than 72% increase from 2021.

International traffic also saw an increase from last year, with 278,266 passengers arriving and departing.

Thanks to the unofficial start of the Spring Break travel season and Speed Weeks festivities in Daytona, the increased traffic pushed passenger totals to over 7 million passengers for 2022.
