Federal, ICE agents remove potential evidence during home raid in Parramore

Officials with Homeland Security Investigations searched a home Tuesday morning in the Parramore neighborhood, according to a public affairs officer with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

ICE agents responded to the area of Parramore Avenue and Gore Street. A spokesperson for ICE said a federal warrant was being served, but they couldn’t elaborate further.

Officials were seen removing a number of bags and boxes of potential evidence. They were tactically armed and surrounding the home as the investigation played out.

Residents told Channel 9 they believed a staffing service was being run out of the home.

They said they often see people coming and going from the home.

Investigators shuffled people through two vans, appearing to question some, before a small group of people were taken away.

No one appeared to be in handcuffs, and all the adults in the home appeared cooperative.

It isn’t clear who the agents were searching for, but they said the case isn’t related to terrorism.
