Hundreds march through the streets of downtown Orlando in support of freedom for Cuba

ORLANDO, Fla. — There was a huge show of support for the Cuban people in the streets of downtown Orlando on Saturday.

Hundreds of Cuban Americans and their supporters marched thought the city, demanding change in their home country.

After gathering near the Lake Eola bandshell Saturday afternoon, people rallying in support of Cuba were led through several downtown streets while being escorted by Orlando police.

Many who came out held signs and flags while chanting “freedom for Cuba.”

“I’m very worried about my family and I want my family to be safe,” said Walter Delgado. “I have a sister and family there. It’s breaking my heart.”
