ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando 4-year-old with one of the rarest forms of pediatric cancer is recovering after her very own Christmas miracle – a bone marrow transplant.
Chloe Bella’s mother, Nayara Hermes, said her donor flew all the way from Europe to provide the donation to help heal her daughter from juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia.
“It's amazing,” she said. “It's a new beginning.”

The little girl’s doctors at AdventHealth said Chloe is doing incredibly well following the procedure after a few weeks of rough recovery.
“We had really rough couple of weeks,” Hermes said.
But now, Chloe is back to her bouncing, bubbly self.
“She is hopefully close to getting out of the hospital, maybe next week,” said Susan Kelly, with AdventHealth.
