ORLANDO, Fla. — After being delayed a few times, Portillo’s is finally open in Orlando.
The restaurant’s grand opening was Tuesday.
Fans of the famous Italian Beef sandwiches have been waiting since January when the fast food chain announced the new location would be coming to Orlando.

The Oak Brook, Illinois-based chain is best known for its Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches and its famous chocolate cake.
The 7,800-square-foot restaurant, located at the intersection of Palm Parkway and Daryl Carter Blvd, will feature a diner theme with rock ‘n roll elements.

The restaurant is part of the $1 billion O-Town West development project.
The Orlando restaurant, in addition to locations in Tampa and Brandon, will be the third location in the state of Florida.
