ORLANDO, Fla. — The gang from the Mushroom Kingdom is heading to Orlando.
The Super Nintendo World that is being built in Japan will be part of the Universal Orlando Resort.
Comcast made the announcement Thursday during its fourth quarter earnings update.
During the update, the company said it is planning to launch Super Nintendo World in the United States “in the coming years.”
Characters including Mario and Luigi will be prominently featured in the park.
Super Nintendo World is set to open in Japan this summer, before the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games.
Last year, the company announced it was building a new park called Epic Universe in Orlando, but it has given few details about what will be in the park.
Epic Universe is expected to open in 2023.
