Dwayne Johnson, notable actor and former professional wrestler known as “The Rock,” is bringing professional football back to Central Florida.

Johnson’s XFL football league will have an Orlando franchise when it kicks off play on Feb. 18, said a news release. Johnson will serve as co-owner of the league alongside Dany Garcia as chairwoman and co-owner.
Orlando is one of eight total cities to have an XFL team, including Arlington, Texas; Houston, Las Vegas; San Antonio; Seattle; St. Louis and Washington, D.C.
