WINTER PARK, Fla. — Two men were shot outside a Winter Park apartment building Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The shooting was reported just before 1:30 p.m. at the Winter Park Village apartments on Village Lane, between North Lakemont Avenue and Semoran Boulevard.
The victims are believed to be in their late teens to early 20s.
Police said the victims were taken to separate hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
It’s still not clear if the men knew the shooters.
Police said they believe it’s an isolated incident and said no arrests have been made.
“We normally don’t have any type of violent crime that occurs here,” said Lt. Pam Markum of the Winter Park Police Department. “We might have an occasional property crime that occurs in the complex.”
A resident said he heard what sounded like a loud crack when the shots rang out.
