Jack in the Box: Popular California burger chain to open Orlando locations

ORLANDO, Fla. — Jack in the Box said Wednesday that it will open 14 new stores in Florida and Arkansas.

The popular San Diego-based restaurant chain said it signed a deal to open 14 new restaurants in Orlando and Rogers, Arkansas.

More than 30 years have passed since the burger chain closed its last Florida store, and this is the first time the company will open restaurants in Arkansas.

“Through my travels to the West Coast, I fell in love with the Jack in the Box brand,” Orlando franchisee Jonathan Peralta said in a news release. “After returning home, I read that Jack in the Box was looking to expand in the Florida market, and I knew that was our sign. Jack in the Box checked all of the boxes of what we were looking for in a franchise opportunity.”

Jack in the Box has almost 2,200 restaurants in 21 states.

It also owns Del Taco, which has about 600 restaurants in 15 states.
