Seminole County firefighters rescue person injured after falling off horse near Lake Jesup

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — First responders in Seminole County rescued a rider who was injured after falling off a horse on Sunday.

Firefighters from Seminole County and Sanford responded to the Lake Jesup Marlbed Flats Conservation at around 9:28 a.m. after reports on the injury.

Crews found the injured rider about half a mile in from the trailhead.

Rescuers brought the patient out on an ATV and transported them to a hospital.

Residents in the area also helped first responders access the injured rider by using their property.
